Are you having trouble figuring out where everything is? Well this is a thread to help you more understand where everything is at!

First, Your going to want to make yourself comfortable with the main page(www.aviliciousmagazine.ning.com)
*The first thing on the top you will see the following - Home, Invite, My Page, Magazine, Goodies, Get Involved, Members, Photos, Videos (The most important ones will be discussed further into this)
*To the left of your screen you will then see the forum box, That will show the most recent posts made. Its a good thing to keep an eye on them cause sometimes we post product warning & interesting forwarding emails we receive.
*Next to that, in the middle of the page you are going to see "Latest's magazine articles", well thats kinda self explanatory.
*Next to that you have a box that is labeled your user name. That there is a VERY IMPORTANT BOX, so make sure you check it every time you log in. There you will see if you have any new messages, friend and alerts. If you have a new message it will say "Inbox (1 new)" or something like that. So make sure you check them & reply if necessary!
*Under the box labeled :Latest Magazine Articles" there will be a box labeled "Blog Posts", that is somewhat the same as the forum box. Blogs are stuff you can post randomly about your life etc.
*Underneath the "Forum" box you will see the "Events" box. These are important as well, they will tell you about upcoming events or birthdays(if the user has posted it.) & Yes you may post your birthday in there too! Don't forget to RSVP :)
*Then under those two boxes, You will see A "Photos" box & "Music" box, those are not so important they just show the most recent things downloaded.
*All the way on the other side tho, You will see a box labeled "About" That is going to tell you that ChaCha created this wonderful social network on NING
*Under that there is a box labeled "Birthdays" - VERY IMPORTANT, Don't miss out on telling ANYONE HAPPY BIRTHDAY. It is there big day, they are one year older. So please don't forget to wish them a happy birthday, they really do appreciate it!
*Under that there is a box labeled "Members" - This box just shows you the latest members that have signed up on the AviLicious Magazine ning network!
*To the side of that box you will see a box labeled "Latest Activity" - Self explanatory, But keep an eye out on this!
**Please don't forget to subscribe to our magazine which is the box right under the "Members" Box, and also if you scroll down just a bit more you will see out "Desktop goodies" & "BADGE", Don't forget to pick yourself up one! (That badge is not the IMVU badge)

Secondly, If you haven't introduced yourself, please do so by..
Hovering over the "Get Involved" tab, and wait for options to pop down, Then click Forum, Then when you get there you want to click on "Introduce Yourself Here", When that page loads you will see "+Add a Discussion" You want to click on that which will bring you to a place to type!
Where it says "Discussion title" That is where you will put your title, For example "Hi I'm BabiiBunnie" or something like that..
Then where it says "Post" and a BIG empty space that is where you will type your info, It can be as short of as long as you want it to be, Just let us know some facts about you! Than when you are done with that you scroll down a little bit and click on "Add Discussion", and your done!

After you have completed that, Your going to want to find the "Get Involved" Tab again, and scroll down to "Groups", There you will see a BUNCH of groups such as "Queens Corner", "Johaubannah Arts and Crafts" and "AviLicious Community Contests". You may join just about any group you wish, UNLESS you are not apart of staff, then you wont be able to join the groups starting with "Official.."

Links to each group- (If you use Firefox, right click each link & click open in new tab, this will allow you to keep this window open)

You also.. Have your own page here. Which can be found here, or on the menu bar up top.
On your page you can customize it to however you like it, Just like on Myspace, etc.
To change the theme(background, etc) You will see under your picture "Change my photo or theme"
Your going to wanna click on "Theme" which will bring you to a page to customize your theme.
Also if you click on "My photo" you will be able to upload your own personalized photo or yourself or your avatar or anything else.

Other important links for staff to know.(I know most of these links are in the Staff group but this is just for people who need more help)
Official AviLicious Staff writers will need a wordpress account once hired. (That is where your articles will be posted)
Penalty/Staff Cut - This is how you get dropped from the staff.
Staff Requests Boards - Outside of the required assignments for the field you were hired for, You also need to keep an eye on requests made by other staff members in other departments needing help.
Time Off - Need time off? Post it here, Don't just go M.I.A.
